Workshops
The project involves four international workshops to be held in Bochum and in Padua, sponsored by the DAAD and involving students, post-docs from the research centers in Bochum and Padua, as well as international scholars.

Talks, lectures and other events
The cooperation between the two groups involves a series of talks and invited lectures, to be held in Bochum and Padua, exploring the questions of "nature", "naturalism" and "human nature" in the authors of the classical german tradition (Kant, Hegel, Fichte, Schelling, Jacobi, Reinhold), bringing them into dialogue with contemporary issues.

Materials
Some materials that are connected to the research, as well links to projects and other things.
About the project
Can Classical German Philosohy help us rethink "nature" ?
In this project, we aim to interrogate the notion of nature developed in the tradition of Classical German Philosophy both from a historical and a theoretical point of view. On the one hand, we hope to provide deeper understanding of the notions Classic German philosophers used to conceptualize "nature" and natural aspects of action and cognition; on the other, we aim to put the classical view into close dialogue with current debates on nature and naturalism
Project coordinators:
Dr. Luca Corti (Porto, Bonn,)
Dr. Johannes-Georg Schülein (Bochum)

The project is part of an international cooperation between the Research Center for Classical German Philosophy (Bochum), directed by Prof. Birgit Sandkaulen and the Research Group on Classical German Philosophy (Padua), directed by Prof. Luca Illetterati, Prof. Francesca Menegoni
